OVERVIEW
Rachelle provides integrative neurotherapy and psychotherapy services for NeuroGrove. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Psychology from Central Michigan University and completed her graduate studies at the University of Denver in 2021, where she obtained a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Health and Wellness.
Certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, as well as Human, Animal, and Environment Connections, Rachelle brings a diverse skill set to her practice. She is also trained in Eye-Movement Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Rachelle’s interest in neuroplasticity and interpersonal neurobiology began during her graduate studies, leading her to immerse herself in professional research and clinical practice within this innovative framework.
With experience spanning various healthcare settings and roles, Rachelle has worked with diverse age groups in clinical, administrative, and leadership capacities. Her commitment to education, outreach, and integrative treatment for optimal brain health, cognitive performance, mental wellness, and trauma healing defines her life’s work.
Rachelle approaches symptoms, treatment, and therapy by understanding the interconnected relationship of the brain, mind, and body. Her goal is to view patients holistically, incorporating mindfulness, mind-body practices, and wellness coaching into her clinical approach. Rachelle utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems, Somatic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based therapy, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Nature-Based Therapy, and Animal-Assisted Intervention Therapy.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Rachelle maintains an active lifestyle. She enjoys embarking on adventures with her dog, Kaia, as well as traveling and experiencing live music. Originally from Metro Detroit, Michigan, Rachelle spent three years working in Washington D.C. before relocating to Colorado in 2020 to further her career in holistic and integrative mental healthcare. Now based in Denver, Rachelle is dedicated to making a positive impact on the well-being of individuals through her compassionate and integrative therapeutic approach.
