OVERVIEW
Dr. Beth Mazzola is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine, with additional certification in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Dr. Mazzola evaluates and treats mental health conditions using innovative approaches such as ketamine therapy and other alternative modalities, with a focus on whole-person healing. Her work is grounded in clinical expertise, a commitment to excellence, and her own journey through functional medicine and psychedelic healing. She integrates conventional and alternative therapies to offer care that is both evidence-based and deeply patient-centered.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Mazzola spent 15 years as a hospice physician, providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. Afterwards, she developed and led a street medicine program in Boulder, Colorado, offering essential healthcare services to people experiencing homelessness and to underserved communities. These experiences reinforced her dedication to health equity and the importance of addressing the social determinants of health.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Mazzola loves spending time with her family, is actively involved in her church community, and volunteers at her local food bank. She is also working to improve her Spanish in order to better serve migrant populations in the future. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and biking with her husband, reading, and creating visual art—activities that help her stay grounded and continue growing both personally and professionally.
