What is constitutional hydrotherapy?

Constitutional Hydrotherapy is a naturopathic healing modality that has been utilized for generations to improve health and well-being.  It has historically been used to cut the severity, duration, and frequency of colds and flu and reverse chronic disease. In more recent years, this treatment has been found to additionally improve gastrointestinal health, reduce chronic pain, calm stress, calm inflammation, optimize the immune system, boost energy, and help move toxicants out of the body.

Constitutional hydrotherapy works by alternately applying hot and cold towels, in conjunction with sine wave muscle stimulation, to stimulate the body’s circulation and trigger its natural healing processes. It’s a gentle, non-invasive therapy that many find to be comfortable, relaxing, and therapeutic.

Hot

Hot towels are applied to increase blood flow, relax muscles, improve digestion, and boost nutrient absorption.

COLD

Cold towels are applied to reduce inflammation, calm swelling, and promote healing.

FLOW

Alternating between hot and cold creates a pumping action in the body, improving circulation and lymphatic drainage.
